The World Economic Forum in Davos gathered over 3,000 leaders from the fields of politics, business, and civil society. This year’s theme, “Collaboration for the Intelligent Age,” emphasized the importance of uniting efforts to address global challenges, including economic resilience, international cooperation, and innovation.
Nataliya Toropova, the head of the Healthy Initiatives NGO, participated in panel discussions and held several meetings focused on assisting Ukraine and supporting Ukrainians during these difficult times.
A significant focus at Davos was on mental health, which was highlighted as the foundation for both individual and societal resilience. Forum participants stressed that resilience is not only about military strength and financial resources but also about the mental well-being of each person and the ability of the body to cope with stress. Stress is no longer seen as merely a personal issue but as a collective responsibility in the pursuit of victory.
Many discussions centered around the importance of brain health as a basis for overall physical and mental well-being, a topic that has gained prominence amid global challenges such as the spread of artificial intelligence, climate change, economic instability, and military conflicts.
The Davos Forum confirmed that the coming years will be challenging, but once the words are spoken, action must follow. We must move forward, strengthening mental health, reducing dependencies, and enhancing our resilience.
