The ambulance, recently delivered to Ukraine thanks to the support of our private donors, is now actively operating in the Kharkiv area.
Since the second Russian offensive began in mid-May, more than 24,000 people have been evacuated from the Kharkiv region, including nearly 2,000 children and 300 individuals with limited mobility. However, many residents still remain in villages and towns near the border and in areas under heavy shelling.
Most of them are elderly people who struggle to make the decision to leave their homes. Territorial Defense Forces are working to assist them, ensuring timely evacuations and transporting patients to medical facilities, which saves lives.
We extend our gratitude to everyone supporting this vital initiative of Healthy Initiatives. Thanks to your help, people caught in the conflict zone have a chance at safety and medical care.
