In the framework of the Mental Health Impact Consortium, Healthy Initiatives recently hosted a breakfast meeting in Kyiv for Ukrainian healthcare providers, bringing together US colleagues from Northwell Health and Ukraine Focus. The focus was on addressing burnout among Ukrainian healthcare providers and finding effective solutions. In war-torn Ukraine, addressing mental health is crucial for community resilience and healing. Our initiative aims to support and guide dedicated doctors facing burnout. The meeting emphasized the need to stand with healthcare warriors amid the ongoing war in Ukraine.

Consortium members also engaged with representatives of the First Lady of Ukraine to discuss the Ukrainian Mental Health Program initiated by Olena Zelenska, exploring potential avenues for collaboration. Northwell Health, Ukraine Focus, and Healthy Initiatives unite with a shared goal of revolutionizing mental health support for these professionals. The Mental Health Impact Consortium stands as a beacon of hope and innovation.
