On May 14 during the Mental Health Awareness Week, Healthy Initiatives ua in partnership with Northwell Health and Ukraine Focus initiated Ukraine Healthcare Resilience Summit in Kyiv.

This landmark event brought together over 100 Ukrainian health professionals to address mental health of the healthcare providers, specifically the issue of emotional and professional burnout among Ukrainian medical community. According to the survey done by Healthy Initiatives ua, 78% of Ukrainian healthcare professionals are feeling emotionally burnt out, yet not planning to look for any professional help.

The summit became a platfrom to support Ukrainian healthcare providers, launch a vibrant dialogue and suggest specific solutions in tackling the issue of the burnout among Ukrainian medcial workers ensuring the proper response to their needs in the time of war.
